Worship at Saint Giles

Saint Giles is a congregation of God’s people dedicated to the lordship of Jesus Christ and open to the movement of God’s Spirit. We hope you feel a warm welcome as our guest, and are spiritually fed during your visit with us. If you are looking for a church home, we hope we might become your new faith community. As God's people, created in God's image and saved by God's grace, worship is our highest priority and our greatest joy! Jesus reminds us to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" (Matthew 22.37).

Worship is what we were made for, and God is the One whom we were made to worship!

In every service, the preaching is biblically based, following the Revised Common Lectionary of Scripture readings. Special worship services are held throughout the year, including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Community Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Christmas Eve.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is observed the first Sunday of each month, and on other special holy days.  The Sacrament of Baptism, for infants, youth or adults is arranged as needed. Various opportunities exist for involvement in worship leadership roles.  Speak with the pastor if you are interested in becoming involved as a lay leader, usher, chorister, dancer, instrumentalist, or in some other creative way.
