What's Happening at Saint Giles
Saint Giles Talent Show
Please change your calendars!
We have rescheduled the Saint Giles Talent Show.
The show will NOW be held on Saturday, March 21st, at 6:30pm.
Don't forget - there are THREE ways you can showcase your talent!
Love to bake? We need volunteers to bring delicious desserts!
Do you find joy in creating and crafting? If so, we would love to showcase quilts, cross-stitch, clothing, costumes, sculptures, pottery, carvings, baskets, woodworking,
photography, calligraphy, poetry, short stories, or even novels!
Lastly, we need at least a dozen acts to provide the evening's entertainment. Singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits or short plays, impersonations, comedy,
dramatic readings/performances, etc.
These are just some suggestions, we’re certainly not limiting you, and you may perform as groups or individuals. Be creative!
Please sign up by contacting Jean Smith, organizer. We know that our Saint Giles community is full of people with gifts to celebrate and we'd love to have your participation. We can't wait to see what the evening will bring!
New and Prospective Members Classes
There are two upcoming opportunities to get better acquainted with Saint Giles. This two-session course is designed for anyone who wishes to learn more about what it is to be part of the community of this church. We will explore Presbyterian theology: the ‘what we
believe”, as well as take a tour of the church property, and learn more about what makes Saint Giles who we are today. Upcoming classes will be February 16th and 23rd and will meet in the Sanctuary Parlor during the Sunday School hour at 9:15am. Please speak with Katherine or contact the church office to sign up.
