Rev. Todd Allen, Interim Pastor
The Session has approved a call to The Rev. Todd Allen to serve as Interim Pastor at St. Giles. He is a graduate of Kenyon College and Princeton Theological Seminary. He has served previous churches as Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministries and as Interim Pastor. Most recently he served as Pastor/Head of Staff of the Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview, Minnesota (a suburb of the Twin Cities).
Susannah DeBenedetto, Director of Christian Education
Susannah is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Eden Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky (a Presbyterian College). She has served UCC and Disciples of Christ congregations in the St. Louis area, a Presbyterian church in Moline Acres, Missouri, and a UCC church in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Gerald Longoria, Contemporary Worship Artistic Coordinator
Gerald and his family are a wonderful addition to our Saint Giles family, and his leadership of our E.P.I.C. Praise Team has been exciting and Spirit-filled. Gerald and his wife, Carol, have two sons, Justin and Bryson, and two daughters, Jessica and Elisa.
Brenda Fernandez, Organist
Brenda received the Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Ohio and the Master of Music in Accompanying from Manhattan School of Music in NYC. She has performed throughout the Caribbean as a soloist and accompanist and as an accompanist throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Locally Ms. Fernandez has accompanied with the North Carolina Opera, UNCG Summer Music Camps, numerous high schools, and for local and statewide competitions and college auditions. Currently she is the accompanist for the Meredith College Choirs, Capital City Girls Choir, Millbrook High School Chorus, Southeast Raleigh High School Chorus and in Wilson with the Hunt High School Chorus. Ms. Fernandez also has a private piano studio and teaches private piano lessons at Ravenscroft School and has been a substitute organist throughout Raleigh/Durham since moving to Raleigh. She is a former K-6 general music teacher and 7-12 choral director. She has two sons who are percussionists and a dog named Staccato.
Julie Larson, Nursery Worker
Julie joined the staff of Saint Giles during the summer of 2010. She has lived in Raleigh for 13 but came to North Carolina 33 years ago. A graduate of Appalachian State, Julie is married and worked as a Teacher Assistant at Stough Elementary for 5 years. She has a 13 year old daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a guinea pig, Her favorite hobbies are reading, gardening and knitting.
Haley Bateman, Nursery Worker
Haley joined the staff of Saint Giles during 2011. She is a member of Saint Giles and a student at Meredith College.
Jim Hodge, Pastor Emeritus
Jim Hodge the pastor of St. Giles from August, 1998 until his retirement in April, 2012. Upon his retirement, he received the title of Pastor Emeritus.
