Pictorial Directory 2012

posted Jan 20, 2012 6:23 PM by Ouida Myers   [ updated Jan 21, 2012 2:45 PM ]

Church Ditrecory
St. Giles is creating a new Pictorial Directory to highlight our membership and the life of the congregation. We will include family portraits and informal pictures of activities telling the story of our Church family. Lifetouch Photography will be taking portrait pictures of members and friends Wednesday March 7 through Friday March 9 from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and Saturday March 10 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, in the Adult Center.
Visit Lifetouch Photography to schedule your session.

The process is simple:
  1. Select the number of people to be in your picture
  2. Select a date
  3. Select a time
  4. Enter your name and contact info
If you need to make a change later, you can reenter the system to change or cancel your appointment.

We encourage you to sign up on line, but if you do not wish to, or cannot, a directory team member will be available on Sunday mornings to help you reserve a time.

Lifetouch will provide one free 8x10 photo for each family. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional photos if you choose. A price list is available at the church, and also will be available at the appointment time. You are under no obligation to purchase any additional photos.

Each family will receive a complimentary copy of the Pictorial Directory.

As a bonus, if you bring canned goods, Lifetouch will provide a $5 discount on purchases of additional photos. Kids for Mission will distribute the food collected to local Food Pantries.

If you have any questions, please contact Jean Smith, Joyce Vollmer, or Bob or Pat Lindsay.

SUNDAY January 29th Schedule

 9:45 - Christian Education
11:00 - Worship
12:00 - Congregational Meeting
12:15 - Kids for Missions Empty Bowl Lunch

This Sunday, we will join together for worship at 11am (only). After worshiping together, there will be a congregational meeting to review the Saint Giles Annual Report, vote on the ministers’ terms of call for 2012, and receive the budget. A quorum is required, so you matter!

Following the Congregational Meeting, Kids4Mission invites you to their Empty Bowl Lunch. Donations given will benefit the Interfaith Food Shuttle. After our one worship service at 11:00, we will gather to enjoy a delicious lunch of soup and bread provided by the Kids4Mission group and their families. Also, the unique bowls will be furnished by the Kids4Mission families. You will take a bowl home to remind you of the many empty bowls in the world. Our dessert will be lovingly baked by the Esther Circle. We extend our thank yous to them. We hope to see you there!

Please plan to attend.
